Keeping my mind clear while trying to stop these tears.
Looking down, trying to avoid what I believe as fear.
Trying to hold on after all of those peers,
But as I close my eyes I felt something in my rear.
Looked and realized after all these years.
Over my unfixed gears, you're finally here.
Vividly holding me while whispering through my ear.
"Everything will be fine, promise I'll treat you right and never disappear."

Holy cow this is awesome! First off I have to say its great to see couplets on here because i feel like im one of the only few. Also what a great specific outlook from a feeling. I cant speak from your mind of course but i read this as a feeling of not being able to believe what love you have and trust you get to have!!!
