Work, Eat, Breathe

M. Evermore

Stress, nerves

Homework lines up

God, I should be working

A pretty little schedule,

All planned out

Makes me want to scream aloud

All my friends seem to be doing fine

But all I seem to do is fall behind

Stay up till 3 o’clock

Ugh, my body hates me now

Another grade in, great

I’m used to getting A’s

Then I look and realize

It’s not an A

Have no time for myself now

Can’t seem to figure my life out

How to stay balanced, organized, and clean

Yeah, it’s just not working for me

No sleep, no time to eat

All I seem to do is work, eat, breathe

So yeah, the story of my life now

I need a day off, a week

No, I need a year!

Sooooooooo

Yeah

I ranted

An A+, I think

I’ll get back to working now

    and our reward for surviving
    'we go again!'
    and again, till
    one day, we hope
    we get to realise
    there truly is more meaning
    to this living, 'thing'
    lol
    (thanks for sharing, so relatable)
