Contrivance

John Prophet

Contrivance.
Human
history
beliefs,
contrived.
Humans,
one against
another.
Competition.
Competing
for dominance.
Control.
Ideologies,
etched
and molded.
Propaganda.
Narratives
forming
legions.
Civilization,
built on
competing
fictive
controls.
Designed
by the
few,
manipulating
the many.
Coerce
thought.
Build belief
systems.
Enhance
power.
Develop
mindscapes
of subversion,
authority.
Power,
control.
Narratives
building
one on
the other.
All Human
conflict
manipulated,
narrative
derived.
Modernity,
web
of control.
Civilization’s
scaffolding,
beliefs
tenuously
built.
Tipping on
the shifting
sands of
contrivance.
