Reminisce

sincerelymarie

I loved you with my entirety;

with every fresh wound that soaked in my skin

you were everything the moon is to me-

wholeness, a confidant & the unspoken promise of illumination on the darkest of nights

my insides crumble knowing I’ve lost you

or

maybe because I never really had you at all

it was beautiful, wasn’t it?
