I am rough around the edges
But I am soft
I am a mess in my head
But I am whole
I am riddles with flaws
But I am just right
I may not be perfect
But I might be alright.

- Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this poem on July 16th, 2022 which was when I was spending a lot of time in my own head. As an over-thinker I often find myself paralyzed in my mind. This past year has been about self-love for me and I hope others can be reminded of their importance regardless of what their head is telling them. I believe that sometimes we just need to be reminded is that everything is going to be alright, even if we are messy.
