Mark

Miss Begotten

you mock my pain

like there's something from it to gain

you laugh and call me insane

like that will take it away

the light is blinding

because my eyes are used to the dark

you ask me why i'm not smiling

when minutes ago you tore me apart

she has a problem with lying

and still you gave her your heart

i have a problem with crying

and all you gave me was a permanent Mark

an angry reminder of why i'm not worth it

i'm tired of performing in your circus

you ask me for fire but extinguish my spark

and every single word leaves a Mark
