Sippin' but not soda

hzugman

I drink my gin and tonic

And feeling quite platonic

Then really I don't know why

End with whiskey made from rye

    like your witty creativity
and yes, we do like to covet
    our tools for ruin, while
sipping on that which suits us
    just fine...
    lol
    thanks for sharing

Thanx, LBM. I'm a usta wanna be stand up comedian who instead settled for being an amateur singer as my avocation for the past three decades. I always appreciate your comments.

we're all wannabe's, till an indifferent world
        deigns
to recognise our efforts, yielding us seconds
        of blink n mis, popularity
yet, the journey itself devoid of outcome and results
we get to keep with us
        long
after the world is done with us
        enjoy the ride, dear Poet
I hope you find the acclaim your sincerity deserves

Thanx, LBM for the comment and the support. As for the "acclaim" I've already achieved that with over 3,000 singing shows at senior facilities over the past 30 years and even better now singing every night to my number one audience, my wonderful girlfriend. Considering my modest amount of talent, I'm truly blessed
