The edge

Alia A.

He stood at the edge of a mountain,

Remembering moments from life;

When it was bad, when he did the rash,

When life was like a trash.

When it was hard to look into human eyes,

Blushing with lies and anger.

When he hurt the feelings of family, friends, or even a stranger.

He remembered all these and asked for forgiveness,

But the pain kept increasing inside.

He was torn, he was rushing and crying,

But no one knew how it hurts him inside,

When he answered a smile with a nasty grin,

and good was answered with evil.

Took a step, then the third and fourth,

He fell and flew like a bird.

Flying quickly down to the foot of the mountain,

He thought about his mother.

She gave birth to a monster with feeling,

Which opened up at the end.
