The Delimma

Halifatu Yakubu Farr

         The Delimma
The mind became like a box containing different birds, I heard different sounds with similar perspectives;
How do I know what to do?
I stumbled, but must fall back to the base, to assume it happened , well then I must be up.
The roots got strong;
I sprout, green and wet.
I got all I wanted, but all seem muddy.
The box appears filled but was still empty.
I look satisfied but starving.
I got it all but not what I desired.
Something was definitely not in my box;
Understanding the natural phenomenon was barren and backbreaking.
Knowledge ought to be pursued and soaked.
My circle plays a role,
My focus must grow,
I play to win.
