Don't let those tears slide down
I'm free from my nightmare
So no more fighting now
God has finally called upon me
To judge me for my sins
Tell me if I'm worthy enough
To forever be with kin
Please know I'm welcome in Heaven
The sun won't go down here
In a land where all is lovely
And the darkness disappears
Genuine peace is up here
Summer weather never goes away
I couldn't ask for anything more
I mean it when I tell you I'm okay
I lived a full life, trust me
So once I pass, don't ask why
You'll see me again, but for now

- Comment from author about the poem: So a few months ago, my addiction was destroying me. I thought I was going to die, so in case I did, I went ahead and wrote this poem to ensure everyone that I'm better off in the afterlife. In short, I was speaking from Heaven.
