Seasonal Depression

kiwicakes<3

Its that time of year again they say

You know,

when less light fills up the day

The holidays are on their way

I fear its getting bad again I say, while everyone else seems to look the other way

Sleep seems to consume me at all times of the day

Basic tasks seem to exhaust me

And things I once found fun seem to daunt me

Oh why is life always so unfair?

As I muster up my last willpower to brush my hair

I think im depressed, I say with grace

“Oh honey, we all feel that way”

Go outside, enjoy the fresh air

Tragic that your mind is filled with so much despair

Will this ever end I cry?

Perhaps in the spring when the climate becomes more dry

Why is it so difficult to exist

But for my loved ones, I must persist
