    Ah - I hasten to say we can do naught else but laugh at what life does to our self-styled ambitions to cope with its sadness dear Bella - -- for to cry would add force to its joke methinks.

        Bella what a great thought. I do try to laugh at the sadness in life, it is better than crying. Life is full of twists and irony why not laugh? It seems that life is just a cosmic joke at times.

          Blimey Bella, I'm so glad you added an author's note .. I knew I had read and enjoyed this little bit of brevity .. but when I blinked it was gone .. For a while I thought I was having poetic hallucinations & was gonna book myself into my own clinic ...
