DayDreaming

Serene Corrigan

Was I lost again, or am I lost in this moment

The Truths of the world camouflaged in the clouds. Where was I again?

The ship found a port at the storm. Was I wandering in the sea again?

They said it's a Netherland but I say it's a promised neverland. Was I building a sand castle in the air again?

The soul strives to find a sacred hill, mine found you. Was I daydreaming again?

The hourglass turned again, memories falling of the castle. Wish I was daydreaming again.

  • Comment from author about the poem: There is a place where lies the Peace, where soul escapes the reality, where castle of memories is built, where there is no boundaries. There is a place called DAYDREAMING.

I write my favourite lines on index cards and pin them to my wall. "The ship found a port at the storm" is going on that wall. Beautiful work.
