A Beautiful Beckoning

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

What's going on in my weird mind
One day we all might find
A beautiful beckoning
Like when Bane said he was Gotham's reckoning
Will the Angel's ever come down and sing
Save us from this life of monotonous texting
Caring about nothing
Desensitised and far less than energised
I despise
What this world has become
In the winter you can hardly ever see the Sun
I've never wanted to win a fortune
Just wanted us all in tune
To see how the powers that be leading us to doom

    a poetic cocktail:
of Hollywood, marvel, theology, philosophy, commentary
and served with a slice of cynical
    matter of fact, bluntness.
(a unique read, to say the least)
    thanks for sharing, dear Poet

When texting first came out it was a relief from emails and longhand writing. Nowadays it's mindless and monotonous texting. Kind of sad when we think about it.
