Captivity

kzsparadise

Lifted, liberated, freed

From the prison where my own mind has been holding me captive

A cage built from guilt and self doubt

Locked away with hate

And buried in regret

A dark place

Sounds only of my voice telling me

You don’t have a choice

Do I remain a prisoner of my own thoughts

Or do I become my own savior

Lifted, liberated, freed
