This Owl

Trieste

God sight

This owl has it all

From feathers covered in light

To eternity's fall

Pure and focused

She tuned her wits

Without fear the veils she pushed

Not knowing what awaits

From now on

No turning back

Cause once the gate was opened

Death and void would cover her world

And so she ventures forth

The blackest cold she felt

As she had glimpses

The past and future combined

Chilled embrace of ashes

A greyish owl in the middle of the night

A dim light covered her ashen body

Cleansing her from the abyss

No more demise upon her

No more despair behind her

Rejoiced and in calm at last

Under the moon lights

She fell asleep

Under a tiny moon she became one with the abyss

Forever safe and guarded by her moon
