How to express, where should I start?
No articulations could recreate this art.
To begin, I guess, that not too long ago,
I felt an afflatus, a feeling I did not know,
A better gentleman I could not have asked for,
My world had become enlightened with bliss galore.
Long talks of our pasts and interests,
Of our accomplishments and tests,
Cautious we treaded slowly, for we both knew pain,
Each night before we bid adieu my heart would cry out in vain,
Hold me a little longer! May I drink in your scent, so intoxicating!
Let my lips caress yours! Make my spirit drift high and sing!
But by our own accord we took these small steps together,
Each moment we looked, smiled or laughed, my soul flew higher,
So many nights that I am graced with your company,
I enjoy to recall the harmonics of your voice as if it was a symphony,
The first time we kissed, it took my breath away,
The passion you showed made my entire being sway,
Each night, each precious savored moment,
Give my life new meaning and a path to fulfillment,
You're beginning to mean the world to me,
I'm falling in love with you, I hope you see,
I've attempted to prevent my free fall into uncertainty,
Yet my heart can not deny, now I fall willingly,
The world is alright once again,
My scars are now on the mend.
Pleasantly one night, your touch, your eyes, your kiss did implore,
Than you said 'I love you' words that to me mean so much more,
So simple these words seem to be,
yet diversely complex for us and what they truly mean,
Dear sweet God in heaven above,
This man, I'm ... I'm falling in love,
I'm not in control of my heart like I normally would,
Yet it feels deep within right, like we should,
As impatient as I am, I'm content to wait and see,
How the man of my dreams, will love me in reality.
