A Poem of Poetry

Poetry is the unspoken words of a shy introvert inked on a canvas conceptualized as their safe haven.

For a poet thoughts are too delicate and complicated to be interpreted as a layman's story.

For a poet thought process is a dive into their soul which is invisible among crowds and silent but in the midst of rowdiness.

For a poet is gifted and cased with a sentimental longing for perfection.

A perfection which is an extension of what they hope to achieve as an ethereal state of mind.

For their state of mind is struck as an outcast until it bleeds on an untouched canvas. 

And yet we all want to be all stars like the converse canvas.
