It came to me that all art is a bit nostalgic needing past experience to evoke feelings at times unidentifiable but locked in some form they do linger as you say and this is what makes a poem, or any work of art, art to me. Nicely done.

some wholes are simply just too hard to fill ............... sadly but true
and instead of vainly attempting to fill them the moving on and finding another spot seems a good thing too.
