Mr Perpendicular

Mr Perpendicular

Mr Perpendicular was never that particular ..

When times were hard, he had been known

to sell his soul, for the price of a Cheeseburger ..

      ....Or a solution .... maybe...perhaps...
With absolute certainty I'd say that sometimes it's just too bloody hard, Nev.

Get outa here, you're just an old softie you old dog you .. it's the way that its meant to be πŸ™‚

I shall not be stirred - You know that's bullshit, Nev.....πŸ™‚

Meaningful though this this three-liner be Nev. I must confess Mr. P. with his hard times leaves my clueless mind speechless - -- must be too many ice cubes in my lunch-time rum - or summat......x hic x

Mr. P used to hold the silver award for being the second longest serving homeless male in & around central England & with whom I had a five year professional relationship with, which ended abruptly with his passing two days into the filming of a documentary on him with my daughter and just under a week after he was re-housed ............. What a tragic finalΓ© to a life of long homelessness - - - and how ironic so soon after Mr. P. had been housed --- drink and drugs can play havoc and though battled with by carers such as you Nev their effects seem to win in the end. A heart-aching read now I know a bit more .....................x

Did he by any chance teach geometry? Under paid, and under appreciated, I can see why he may sell his soul for a cheeseburger, I think.

He told me he had been an apprentice watchmaker before he discovered drink n drugs could more effectively reduce the voices he heard than anything I or any of my predecessors had ever prescribed .................. we actually became quite good friends πŸ™‚

Responses to Fay and Bella gave the situation more context and satisfied me, I think...Nev

                  lol
I do hate it when a burger is served all lopsided and bent out of shape...
as in our meaning, being mistaken
                  for the lacking obvious
it takes all sorts really, how dare they assume
we cared enough to rhyme for a reason
sometimes, we do it because it feels good
                  and that's a heavenly excuse!
you'll now i'm right, by you inability
                  to prove me wrong
                  the end.
                  lol
(you've earned half your sainthood by putting up with me nonsense
                  so I'm claiming credit
                  aside my gratitude, dear friend)
