Sacrificed Love

Brishell

I sacrificed a part of me

I sacrificed that part of me to you

You’re the keeper of my darkest secrets

The beholder of my deepest fears

You vowed to be the shoulder I lie

To leak out all my tears

My spirit is within you and mine within yours

Let’s go chase the sun and search the world

Though you are my universe all together

I’m all yours

I’m all yours

When we make love

There’s no distractions

Just my heart and yours

I expose my sacred temple

That you can see

The priceless offer to you alone

No masquerading, no shenanigans

I’m all yours

I’m all yours

You see my soul naked

You see through my skin

And deep within

I know that your heart

Is the best place to be kept

Your soul is the lover of my soul

You never seem to notice

How much you have me swept

But it’s the warmth of your voice against my ear

And the scent of your skin

That draws me near and cuddles me in

Our love has passion

I present my love through words and action

Our souls are full of each other

And will never be able to contain

The pure essence of us

When you look to my soul after a passionate night

Know I behold myself to you

I sacrifice my soul to you

And it unquestionably feels right

Remember

I’m all yours

I’m all yours

    such passion, thanks for sharing
    reminds me of the song
'Naked' by the soulful Ella Mai
    especially the lyrics
'There's nothing I want more in this world
Than somebody who loves me naked
Someone who never asks for love
But knows how to take it
    Are you that somebody
Who sees a wall and breaks it?
Are you ready to fight just to see what's lost behind my flaws?
    Can you love me naked?'
