This is the day you got caught
With a phone.
You was hone to your actions.
You knew what you were doing.
YOU GOT IN TROUBLE!
What will it take for you to change?
You've made everyone disappointed;
You really had to be foolish.
Man you got a year and change.
Well, mommy I took your advice
I prayed that
the Lord and Everyone forgive me.
I prayed that
he guides me in the path of success.
I prayed that
he makes a man of me.
I PRAYED THAT
he gives me a year and some change to mature.

- Comment from author about the poem: Well, i'm a 16 year old and got caught with a phone. The phone had bad things in it and my parents said "you got anything else you wanna say" and I replied "Imma change" then my mom said "I pray you do and you also need to take time to actually pray"
