Love Sings from the Heart

Accidental Poet

Even while young

A heart learns to sing

What it means to give and receive

The joy of everything

And with maturity

It learns of love

Of love won and lost

All it’s made of

Aah, but a splendid thing the heart

To feel so euphoric and alive

A universe of emotions

An inner instinct to thrive

And when the heart

Sees its reason to live

When its core is reached

Of itself it must give

A glow of untold beauty

Possessing a weakness and power

All in one emotion

Radiates like a brilliant flower

The music of the heart

Love, the sweetest of sounds

Many times, with  sincere words

Adjectives, verbs and nouns

In the deepest of deep

Love, in all its glory

Leaving you awestruck

Tells an unforgettable story

Let the heart sing

Sing of love in poetry

Let it sing out loud

And proud as it should be

Let it speak to the masses

For no other form of art

Can speak for so many when

Love sings from the heart
