Challenge

Fay Slimm.

Challenge.

Life has its mountains,
cliffs of fall,
frightfully sheer,
not easily climbed, save
by those whose endurance
becomes unchained

Life has grinding anvils,
hammer-hard
           moments of challenge,
lion-bite tests find winners
who fallen may wince yet rise
to face blows singing.

it is so much easier to give up isn't it .. but for those who rise to the challenge .. what better feeling could there possibly be than that of achievement .. x

In all those challenges there’s growth .

    Challenging message, Fay. Well said.

Yes, similar to what Neville says - it's easier to go downhill than uphill, isn't it?

Nothing here metaphorical in my response, but I'm motivated to do it anyway:
I have fallen over a number of times in a long and at times difficult life. But the help I've received, particularly latterly, leaves me with a warm glow with respect to other's humanity. Thanks Fay - a good reminder.

    Amen!
    A classic truth, remains timeless
    A whisper of wisdom, vital
    for every generation..
I read and try to heed, dear Fay
