Playful Old Moon

Jerry Reynolds

A radiant sun feels warm and comfortable today.
The sharp contrast in the shadows cast renders
writing more difficult. As if that needed any help.
My phone pings. It’s my brother-in-law alerting me
of a Christmas present arriving soon. I texted back,
‘I will keep an eye out.’ ‘Got the birthday brownies.’ ‘Yum!’
‘Smelled good as well.’
