Under the Blanket

joslouis

Heavy rain, thunderstorms

Raindrops and puddle everywhere

Lights off, cold feet

Laying down and falling asleep

I bundle up and get covered

under the blanket I hide

The warmth and peace

Can I just stay there for the rest of my life?

    Warmth (-:

    rain does help curate
that most seductive of mellow ambiences
so enticing to blink, in beat
with those droplets on our window screens
and let them usher us back to a time of rest..
a relatable read, thanks for sharing
