Doom

PurpleGlasses

Waiting for Judgement day

Yet judgement seems to decay

Waiting for dooms arrival

No chance of survival

The meteor it arrives

Destruction is near

No need for shelter

The result is clear

My story is written

My fate sealed

It was fun while it lasted

My sentence complete

I shut my eyes

Accepting my part

I'll be gone in a moment

No do-overs, no restart

Dust rises up high

In the moment of doom

Scourging the landscape

Leaving everything in ruin

I imagine the chaos

I think of its wrath

Laying waste with its fury

Cleansing it's path

Total destruction

Of an scope unthought

All is bruried

Everything lost

Rebuilding impossible

Many bits of the soul

What once was destroyed

Cannot be whole

Yet in my anguish

Deep down in my low

An itch appeares

A question untold

Am I not dead ?

Why am I feeling ?

What is thy meaning?

Is all of it lost ?

I open my eyes

Just but a bit

Trying to discover

The remains of the hit

All seems normal

Everything d`accord

Climbing out of my enclosure

All in shambles, or so I thought

Was my demise introduced

By a destroyer self employed?

Do I bring uppon my own destruction

Will I change or am I too reluctant?

      Thanks 🙂

To be honest I wrote this one while prokrastinating while learning for my PSY exams 😅. I always start waaay to late but I always manage to pass. And with increasingly better grades I might add. And yet I always panic
