I watch you change each year
From glowing greens to blistering burgundies
From bright skies and days spent outside
To days spent waiting for a change in tides
I watch you change
Watch your leaves decay
Becoming only remnants of stray autumn days
I do notice you change, I notice I change
I see change so clear that one would think everyone else is blind
