Our Eternity

armin

I feel as if I’ve known you all my life,

So far yet so close,

I never not want you by my side,

You make me feel like as if tomorrow will be ours,

Our conversations deep as your soulful eyes,

Not a flower in our garden withered,

No tree as big as our love for one another,

Through thick and thin,

By my side you stood,

Broke my walls just to leave to rebuild once more,

Our times now seem like a waste,

Was I not to your taste?

Why leave me all by myself,

All alone,

Something you said you would never to do,

Which you promised under the starry night,

To ask, it hurts,

Yet nonetheless,

Why did you choose to end it all?

The question runs through my mind,

Perhaps it was me all along,

Through the tears I now stand,

Without you by my side,

How far must I go, just to see you once more.

'... as far as a blink
and as near, as a thought'
life lingers, in our accumulated mementos
we merely need to utilise those memories
use them, before they poison us
    grow our gardens of tolerance
    and prepare
    and hope
we get one more chance, to do it right..
    thanks for sharing, dear poet
    stay strong!
