Our faith is shattered

Leaving my memory for ever fractured.

The shadow betrays the sun

And the cat outsmarts the tiger.

So much I generously share

Yet even a word you cannot bear.

I read you deep,

Support and guidance you seek.

But I wasn’t prepared

For you to be so ill-heartned

To forget our tales just now

And leave me alone and bewildered!
