For her

James Stinson

Take me to that place l crave

Where lovers come to dance

Show me souls of mercy

Caught in sensual avalanche

Heart and soul, a lover's kiss

The bruise before the pain

Hold me, kiss me,love me

Again,again,again

It is so very simple

Expectations of desire

But find that spot and fill that space

Ignite the inner fire

Beyond this point all hope is lost

Even lust has run the race

Our fingertips have lost their touch

To find that special place

Kiss me later, start again

And trust my heart to beat

Let me go to let me come

To understand the sweet

Love me to a paradise

That no one can explain

Then love me in our  chosen place

Again, again, again

In the morning's sober light

The curtains will be drawn

We let the light invade our lives

To accommodate the sun

Then death will come yet life goes on

The tide will surely rise

Cover me in silken shrouds

Place petals on my eyes

Remember all the love we shared

Recall our special day

Then find your coat and close the door

Before you walk away

Do not look back or falter

Please, let your step be true

Murmur, gently, one last time

My darling, l love you.
