midnight theatre

amepiesces

all the scenes all the screams

still fresh like a play on repeat

the quivering whispers the silent pleads

the fold that covered the eyes beneath

the audience gasp as the plot proceeds

excited to see the protagonist scheme

but little they knew she forgot the script

and left the theatre that midnight brings
