Without Mom

Geeky Greek

All the plans we made,

they’ve all faded now

and I’ve had to continue this journey

without you some how

I Look at your pictures;

memories flood my eyes

guess I’m not that good

at goodbyes

Time has not healed everything,

that is clear to see

just another day, month, year

without you here with me.

    Well spoken G. G. I lost a wonderful wife almost two years ago and feel your pain. It never goes away but it does get more manageable.

      I am sorry for your loss.
      Yes, always there but the sting slowly fades.

      A very relatable write. I lost my mother to stroke 7 years ago.

      Take care - Syd
