Inside thier hearts

Simply Marie

We tried our best to make it right before we went our separate ways

A plan was made that has to stay until another day

So that maybe they won't have to know the way she towed that line

They've always known her love for them could never be destroyed

It helps to know they understand the way this game is played

Keep trudging through hope life gets better every single day

Resisting urge to play details still left deep inside her mind

Another holiday goes by with lovely thoughts of them to make her smile

Gift of memories made long ago before a long and difficult trail

A kind of thing they can't destroy no matter how they try
