We played too much, my sweetheart

Natalie Gladmir

A tired day has changed its colour,
The sky switched on the silver stars.
Moonlight trails path into the parlour,
Our heads are full of thoughts of us.

Look forward to reunion time coming
To tell each other lots about our love
& to forget offenses, all shortcomings,
Fake message accounts to get rid of.

An hour will strike, without petty nitpicks
We'll get away from empty online leisure
No longer pursuing this useless politics.
Cause we may find much worthy pleasure.

  • Comment from author about the poem: As my loved one said, in love there are ups and downs, mistakes and bitterness. The most important thing is to learn to accept and forgive it, because tomorrow will be better than yesterday.

      Dear sir,
if you were at the court of King Louis XIV, you could appease any nobleman and even his majesty with your gallant approach and long-range arsenal of flattery. You are a born panegyrist. Thank you. You are very kind. LOL!
