Today I heard angels singing
The world woke up
The world stood still
The voices sang the sweetest song
The glory of being a child
The golden divinity of infant souls.
Today…I heard angels singing
The hearts melted down
And a divine fountain flooded the room
while the warm texture of their voices rose
permeating the air with delicious scents:
citrus, cinnamon, frankincense and chocolate!
Today I heard angels singing…
The perfect melody.
Preparation for the festive season.
Exciting days!!!
presents and cookies!!!
And I remained still…
Very quiet… listening…
While my tears
ran down my cheeks,
I was surrounded
by multicoloured sparks,
and jolly and shiny stars!
Today I heard angels singing
But these angels had no wings.
They use backpacks, pigtails
and undone
shoelaces.
They have charming smiles
Beautiful hearts filled with
fluffy candy floss
and cheeky
salted caramel
toffee!
