Lonely and Forgotten

rhmn_7

Weigh the loneliness in the human chest

The piercing pain that does not bleed

Heavier than concrete from east to west

If not love in this ignorant world,

what is it that we need?

Shine like the sun behind the mountain

So many shoulders hopelessly fallen

Spread life as deserts last fountain

If everybody remembers someone,

then no one is forgotten.

Diving into your collection of poems. What a kind sentiment. Agree 100%. If we all cared for our fellows, nothing evil could ever happen.
