Who will it be
When you’re standing so tall
The one who reaches in and turns it all
A trip of the circuit is all that it takes
From creative and sound
To collateral bracing under a table
As the phantasm grows tall
Stretching, straining to cover the wall
You recoil so inconsequential and timid
Shrinking from sight with all of your might
From the depth of emotion that haunts you
With only softness, you pursue the fight
Investigating the commonality that bonds you
The similarity you share is the parasite of pain
From intangible forces that plague you
Having faith in your worth has been questioned since birth
Is what the dark craves you to see
This segment of your story is the hardest to hide
It’s what fetters your soul to the void
The bane’s intermediary is the despair inside
Both of you are hiding from what you both fight
The terror for each is the freedom of light.
