My Little World

That quiet girl

If you were to take a trip through my mind

Down all of its twists and turns

There's something you would find

But be careful–it’s quite easy to burn.

You see it’s my little world in there

Inside is all of my pain and regret

Yes it’s my little world right there

Filled with memories I've tried so hard to forget.

For it’s my tears that fill the oceans of sorrow,

And my cries that echo in the caves of shame

The skies could be cloudy tomorrow,

Or suddenly fill up with rain.

So be careful in my little world

It is my soul after all

Yes, you might want to leave my little world

It’s really no fun at all.
