RED-BLUE

Melike

Bodies glued with alcohol

Eveyone dressed up to shine in the dark

Red-blue light made you blind...

I tried to reach you in this haze

but you were going after champagne

The meaningless gossip in ladies's room

Counting kisses as score...

You wanted to create a view:

"wrapping my well dressed arms around your pricey suit"

That's when i got red-blue feeling:

Passionate, dazed, high, desired but insubstantial and empty.

Every time the light made me discontinuous,

I realized you wanted just anybody, not me

while i was waiting to follow your lead.
