Life_Of_Two

Gumuous

Even with my struggles,
my dream is still in reach.
Though I feel dead,
I can still breath.

Life gifted to me by another,
one I hold dear in my heart.
Their love is more than a brother.
Another stormed the ramparts of my heart,
everything feels like it’s falling apart.

Dream I reach is not my own,
I live for another who is long forgotten.
But now I'm just a pile of bones.
But I'll fight though my soul is rotten.

Alive love decays like a withering rose,
though I am dead I can rise once more.
The thought of being alive again shows,
that I am capable of being what I was before.

Suffocating me like a running river,
It allures you with a promise of life.
Falling for it's trap like it was silver,
fated to go downriver.
All you can do is shiver.
For I and You are-?
