In your fair garden where I oft did kneel,
With steadfast heart and hope, I did withstand,
The trials of life and doubts did I quell.
Young and bold, I faced life's fearsome test,
Overcoming each with love's steadfast might,
With thee, my love, my heart doth be blest.
Though wounds may smart and doubts may cloud the sight,
Still I stand, my love's truth clear and bright,
Loyal and true, with beating heart full of light.
Thou may disdain, yet I shall still cling fast,
To fragile hope, in thy light I do bask,
My devotion ne'er shall bend, my love shall last.
Until the end of time, my love shall stay,
Unending devotion, shining bright each day.
