Here Goes a Poem Straight Off the Brain

Stop reading if you’re not ready to experience the pain.

I’ve been through many sunny days without the  rain,

But for some reason the forecast only predicts

Heavy Showers of pain.

 

So I walk outside to see the dark clouds and get prepared,

Im dodging the water because it might mess up my hair.

 

I remember I keep my hair shaved and close to the skin,

In this race, the people with bald heads are the ones who will win!

 

So even though there is bad weather outside,

I’m not going to allow it to keep me locked up inside.

 

Pain

 

This is something that happens when you can’t find a shoe,

It’s something that happens when you don’t know what to do.

 

It happens when you get locked up into a new world,

This is pain and I cannot describe it in one single word.

 

Pain hurts and is overwhelming when you face the despair,

I am blessed to have the strength to overcome and be better prepared.

 

Pain is sometimes so obvious where everyone can see,

Yet, there are those who will use your pain to try and bury thee.

 

It happens when you look for dad and he’s not around,

It happens when you know where mom is and she’s in the ground.

 

It happens when your wife don’t want to be your friend,

It happens when your life won’t come to an immediate end.

 

It happens when you stare the devil in the face,

But then there are times when God gives you the undeserving grace.

 

Just don’t ever forget what He has forgiven for you,

That means that you cannot judge others with the intention of being so cruel.

 

Be that person that God wants you to be,

Even if you are around people who do not believe.

 

These are the ones who will poison your mind and plant a seed,

Continue to pray for them, I will do, and that’s guaranteed.
