Hope She Was Worth This

Jasmine Swift

I found out something about you today. Now I’m angry, wondering why it’s gotta be this way.

You finding another girl. When our love was my world.

You held hands when we were together. Now things won’t get much better.

You should’ve said no, and went to who was your home.

I can see you being that girl’s biggest wish. I hope she was worth this.

You made my thoughts wonder about you two. I guess she just couldn't get off of you.

You can tell your friends everything I say, because we'll never be the same.

With you, I saw a future so bright. Now, my emotions got me calling you out tonight.

I know making her yours, you won’t regret, but this is something I’ll never forget.

I can’t unsee her arms around your arm and wrist.  God, I hope she was worth this.
