I Think I Miss You

dsos123

Tried to love you, I did,

But the empty bottles stood in our way,

The screaming scared me to death,

But you never remembered.

Your lifestyle proved morbid,

So many things I never got to say,

Before you finally left,

That 11 of November.

I wish we could have talked,

But we both skipped a beat,

And walked.

I genuinely miss you endlessly,

Not a day goes by,

Painlessly.

I miss you Dad,

Wish things were,

Different.
