Let's Play

Simply Marie

While a looming storm may threaten a previous established norm

To a heart It seems so ravished faith would speak in silent words

Hang on tight to what you know don't let them win this time

When justice paves the way perps are held accountable for their crime

That doesnt mean its easy it just may be contrarily hard

Wont deny myself again another chance to play my part

Will I face it gracefully this time or will I fall in tears

No longer scared of my emotion I've only faced another fear

There are always certain questions that no one else can answer

I'll be the one to take the stand and hand them what they're after

There must be consequences for the way he played that evil game

Let him think he really beat me down I came here for the win

Look inside myself again find yet another unexpected reserve

Of strength he never knew I had and still now remains secure

A thing that still cannot be found in simple eloquence of words

What a punk wont understand a warriors heart will always know

I know that there will always be those who still dont understand

Especially for one who's left in shock when he thought he won the game

The stuff that karma brings on that final judgment day

Another lesson to be learned of those who think they want to play
