The Lord Is My Air

ForeverJesus7

Like the air I breath;

I cannot live without Him.

The moment I no longer believe,

or start to doubt Him;

that is when,

I begin to grow weak.

My eyes are no longer open,

and the world,

starts to look bleak.

The Lord is my shepherd,

my rock, and my air.

I need Him always,

and everywhere.

I need Him always,

to survive.

He is what,

keeps me alive.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I hope you like this piece. My wife, Butterfly Crown, recently wrote a poem with a similar title called, 'Breathing God'. I thought that I might capitalize on it. The Lord is my air. I am dead without Him. Persistence is key
