A Hearts Complications

Rick j. lewis

They say a kid plays,

and a clown dances,

but what they don't say is the feeling of a broke heart,

the tears of man.

Turn your card over make sense of the moment,

Trust your heart swallow your fear,

No more darkness in the night nor nightmares,

Your dreams may weep your full of sorrow,

This is no cure for desire ,

This is a hope to inspire.

Among the shadows is you fear,

With the light you shoot past fire.

At age 14, I didn't even know how to talk in English,
Language and experience make a good poet,
I am sure you will start writing fine poems
When you gain experience and expertise!

thank you I will remember your user name to thank you later in life,
and by the way I did not speak in fluent English until 2013 until my mother adopted me,
so I think that the gift of language was just something that we weren't given but it was and had to be earned.

and I will check out your poems, keep coming back if you can.

        Even if God can't bless,
        Success, toil will give us!
        -
Toil is the one and only way
        To keep defeats away!
        -
        Toil is the root,
        Success is its fruit!
        -
Write more and read also by burning candles,
Then you will get cash and poems in bundles!
        -
All the best my dear young man,
Love your mother and be her fan!
