Rolling Waves

Simply Marie

On the other side of tears

frozen in a space of time

Supposed to hold them in

like the way that I was trained

Resisting therapeutic process

to guide me to a place

Where just beneath the surface

tears replacing shame with grace

Habits holding tight again

attempt to put me in my place

A spiritual trust inspiring strength

to finally face the angst

To reach the other side

a journey guided by the light

Watch emotions play thier part

like when waves are seeking shore

No need to fight again this time

let it roll on down the line

Until it meets the shore again

the way its done before

Released control I do not need

when nature does its thing
