THE GREAT FLOOD

kurtis77

I was in Rhode Island when

The great flood happened

It was me and mom and

We were looking for an

Escape.

But the rain had us cornered we were trapped

Under in the barn with

The animals and other people as well

We thought we would meet

Our fate.

As fast as we could we ran back to the

Car but we were soaked and drenched.

It felt like the world was angry and

All of us were being

Punished our situation

Looked grey.

We go on to the highway but

We were cornered. The flood had started

Then we heard thunder that came

Along with it.We were stuck there for

Three hours until finally a miracle came

We were freed.

We made it home after our

Ordeal and began to process

What had happened to us

But at the end of the day

We made it through now

We tell the story of how

We survived the

Great flood.
